This magnificent tea garden has become one of the reference gardens for evaluating the quality of the season. The craftsmanship and care in the garden and in the factory of the people behind this tea are exemplary and very well recognized among local tea producers. Therefore, if the tea varies between good and top-notch, it depends only on uncontrollable natural factors.
This spring of 2023, the weather and precipitation in the Shi Bi Mountains were not as severe as in the low-lying regions. Despite lower yields, the offer this spring is a shade better than previous seasons. Also, as in previous years, this series has been adapted and made in small quantities with a slightly higher oxidation that we can mark as the traditional level of oxidation. This results in a thicker, creamier texture with sweeter floral notes and a less grassy flavor.
Lovers of this tea will still be in recognizable territory, but they will have a feeling of fuller taste, yet smooth and sophisticated and very well balanced between floral notes, freshness and a clean delicate finish characteristic of high mountain Taiwanese tea.
As with all previous series of teas from this garden, this garden is certified according to one of the strictest standards for the use of pesticides.
