Dian Hong Jin Hao Yunan Black Tea is made from the leaves of the Menghai Big Leaf tea tree from the organic tea garden of southern < href="https://tea-time-one.hr/yunnan-domovina-caja/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yunnan which is certified according to EU and NOP standard. Menghai Big Leaf is a quality type of Yunnan Big Leaf Tea. It grows at an altitude of about 1600 meters above sea level in the ecological system. The tea tree is resistant to diseases and pests. It has a rich and high-quality composition and is a very good cultivar for the production of black tea. It is characterized by long soft leaves with a lot of hair.

The tea was harvested in mid-April and processed in a facility with over forty years of experience in the production of black tea. Most of the tea body is covered with golden hairs and gives a floral-sweet aroma and a sharp and very strong taste, which is a characteristic of the classic Dian Hong. It has numerous golden peaks and gives a charming sweet and fruity taste.

Preparation – kettle:
• 4 g tea (2 teaspoons)
• 200 ml of water
• Temp. 90°C
• Spillovers 4: 1-2 min, 2.5 min, 3 min, 3.5 min

Preparation – gaiwan:
• 5 g tea
• 110 ml of water
• Temp. 90°C
• Overflow 5: 20s, 25s, 45s, 50s, 70s

Cold brew:

• Quantity: 8 g of tea per 1000 ml of water
• Preparation: Place the tea leaves in water at room temperature, let them sit for 15 minutes, and then refrigerate for 8 hours. Strain the drink and drinkand within 24-48 hours.

Serving tip: If desired, you can additionally decorate the finished tea with fresh mint leaves, slices of lemon, orange or other fruit of your choice.
