Origin: Huang Mountain, Zhejiang, China

Garden height: 1800 m

Picking Method: Manual

Do you remember the mild, floral tea often served in Finnish Asian restaurants? It is chrysanthemum tea, and we bring you its finest version. These chrysanthemum flowers are carefully dried immediately after picking, preserving their natural freshness and aroma. Since it contains no calories or caffeine, it is the perfect choice for a soothing moment of relaxation after a busy day.

The preparation of this tea is a real ritual that offers more than just taste. For the best experience, we recommend using your favorite clear glass teapot. Just a few dried flowers are enough for one cup. Pour them with hot, but not boiling water (about 90-95°C) to preserve the delicate petals and the fullness of flavor.

The preparation process reveals the true beauty of this tea. Pour hot water (90-95°C) over the flowers and watch as the petals slowly open in a clear, golden infusion, releasing a delicate, earthy scent. The taste is refreshingly mild and naturally sweet, and you can sweeten it with honey if desired. After five minutes, you get a drink ideal for a moment of peace and enjoyment.

Chrysanthemum tea has been a favorite beverage in China for centuries, prized for its fresh and floral aroma. It is traditionally consumed in the warm summer months for its refreshing effect, and many choose it for moments of peace and contemplation. It is also popular as a light and pleasant after-meal drink. Its traditional reputation as a body-cooling beverage makes it a choice for relaxation all year round.

Important Warning:

People allergic to flowers (such as ragweed) are recommended to avoid the consumption of this tea to prevent possible allergic reactions. Also, it is not recommended for diabetics and people who use hypertension, antibacterial, anticancer and anti-inflammatory drugs. In case of doubt, we advise consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
