Matcha Genmai consists of high-quality sencha, premium matcha from Kyoto, and fried brown rice.

The advantage of this tea compared to traditional teas is that it offers elements of extremely healthy whole rice, tea leaves (senche) and powdered tea (matcha) in one cup.

Since brown rice has half of the share in tea, the amount of sencha, and thus theine, is significantly smaller.

The fragrant aroma of brown rice blends well with the aroma of matcha, which makes it a very popular product.

Preparation

• 5 g tea
• 200 ml of water
• temp. 70-85°C
• 2:1 min, 3 min

Cold brew

• Quantity: 8-9 g of tea per 1000 ml of water
• Preparation: Place the tea leaves in water at room temperature, let them sit for 15 minutes, and then refrigerate them for 7-8 hours. Strain the drink and drink within 24-48 hours.

Serving tip: If desired, you can additionally decorate the finished tea with fresh mint leaves, slices of lemon, orange or other fruit of your choice.
